Length: 1 Hour

At this time of year, it’s easy to feel like stressed out students are just a given and the only hope for a reset is a summer vacation to usher in calm, settled students in the fall. It’s also tempting to assume emotionally amped students belong in the purview of expert clinicians. In fact, many stressors can be managed and reined in if students are armed with essential social skills. Regardless of your role with students–wellness director, counselor, or classroom teacher–this webinar offers strategies to help your students get their arms around loneliness, procrastination, social skills, self-regulation and a host of other common stressors. Embracing such strategies with students in a small-group setting, one-on-one, or as part of your overall classroom practice will reduce stress for students and staff alike, making the work of educators easier, not harder. Don’t wait until the fall–send your students (and yourself) on summer vacation with the skills they need to ward off stress!
